Our former Abbot General, Rt. Rev. Fr. Thomas Handgrätinger, O. Praem is called to his eternal reward this morning of 24 July 2026, following a serious illness, at Windberg Abbey (Kloster Windberg), Germany.

We thank God for his devoted life of prayer, humble leadership, and dedicated service to the Premonstratensian (Norbertine) Order and the universal Church.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest and reward him abundantly for his faithful ministry.
